Read to Lead: Reading Challenge K-2 and 3rd-5th

Hello Madison Families, 

 

There will be a reading challenge for all grade levels from January 30^th to April 27^th 

 

I have attached flyers in both English and Spanish to help teachers, students, and parents understand what is required in order to participate. 

Students must read at least 5 books from SORA and then answer a couple of questions about the book. Parents are allowed to help students fill out the form. The prompt must be submitted as a participation requirement. Parents can scan the QR code on the flyer and it will take them directly to the participating page. 

 

The winners will be determined by the district and will provide certificates and trophies. 

I would like to create our own certificates for our top-winning classrooms from Madison, and it would be great if I could provide prizes for our top 5 winners. 

 

Please let me know if you have any other questions, concerns, or perhaps share ideas on how we can incentivize students to participate and encourage them to read more books!
